I call this photo “The Sea”s TV’s” because of their location. During a photo scouting trip to what was the most foul smelling place. My nasal passages were not ready for the assault. I was wondering through the handful, and that means 3, streets that make up the town and admiring their homes and art in such an unforgiving environment. This town I should mention is the Salton Sea in Southern California. An accident of a town that boomed during the 60’s that now sits vacant and dilapidated. The decay is overwhelming and the shores of the biohazard of a beach are made up of the tiny bones of fish and birds that succumb to the desert and the waters. This TV art installation was made by a resident who survives and lives in this environment.
